  • What do you teach in the beginner puppy class?
    I cover sit, down, wait, touch/ come, leash walking and getting your puppy's attention.
  • What do you teach in the intermediate puppy class?
    Sit, down, stand, wait, stay, touch/ come, place, loose leash walking, leash game, watch me, find the face, gentle, leave it, and recall.
  • How many puppies are in the class?
    Typically, 3-4 puppies.
  • Does my puppy need to have all its shots before doing a class?
    No, the first two sets of vaccines are required.
  • What age does my puppy need to be to do class?
    You can start as early as 10-12 weeks old and up to 12 months old. We offer three different puppy classes. A beginner puppy class ages 10-12 weeks to 4 months. Then, an intermediate puppy class ages 4 months to 7 months. Lastly, the AKC Star puppy class is for puppies 12 weeks to 12 months.
  • Which class is the best fit for my puppy?
    It depends on the age of your puppy. You will want to do the beginner puppy class if your puppy is between 12 weeks and 4 months. If your puppy is between 4 months and 7 months, you will want to do the intermediate puppy class. The AKC Star puppy class would be a good fit for you if you are looking for basic manners and something more advanced.

    I offer beginner puppy classes, intermediate puppy classes, basic obedience classes, AKC Star puppy classes, CGC classes, one-on-one private lessons, and a two-week day Drop-And-Train program.
  • What issues specifically do you do training for?
    Extra support with basic obedience or behavior problems. We cover recall, leash walking, jumping, barking, good manners, listening, basic puppy training, potty training, chewing mouthing, barking, jumping, lunging at other dogs, being reactive towards other dogs and more!
  • What style of training do you do?
    Positive reinforcement, no Pain, Force, Fear, Shock, Prong, or Choke.
  • Which private lesson package is the best fit?
    The 3-lesson package is an excellent option for puppies or to work on the basics. The 4 or 5 lesson packages are more for dogs with behavioral issues, such as barking, jumping, lunging at other dogs, being reactive towards other dogs, etc.
  • What do we work on for private lessons?
    Anything from basic obedience and manners to more advanced behavioral problems. Such as recall, loose leash walking, jumping, barking, good manners, listening, basics, puppy training, potty training, chewing, mouthing and much more!
